18th Senatorial District Candidates' Forum on Groton Municipal Television on Thursday, Oct. 9 at 8:30 p.m. on Channel 2 on Comcast Cable of Groton and Thames Valley Communications. The forum is sponsored by the League of Women Voters of Southeastern Connecticut.

Democratic candidate Andrew Maynard and Republican candidate Anne P. Hatfield will be asked for their views on state budget priorities, stste funding for education, healthcare reform, transportation, criminal justice, internet neutrality, environmental issues, and state tax policies.  Barbara Brockhurst will moderate the forum.

The forum will be rebroadcast on Friday, Oct. 10 at 4 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 12 at 8:30 p.m., Thursdays, Oct. 16 and 23 at 8:30 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 25 at 10:30 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 26 at 8:30 p.m., and Wednesday, Oct. 29 at 9 p.m.
