Lyme-Old Lyme HS Building Project a Special Topic on Old Lyme’s Public Access Program Watch Old Lyme’s Comcast Cable Public Access Channel 14 at 7:30pm on July 7 and July 21 for Part 2 of a Special Edition of Conversations, the ongoing public access series. This month, Lymeline.com editor and Conversations host Olwen Logan talks with members of Regional District #18’s Building Committee about the work that has taken place since a proposed $53.9 million high school construction plan was defeated at referendum just over one year ago. In Part 2 of the three part series, the Lymeline.com editor covers the sub-committee research and analysis that led the Building Committee to three possible options for a high school renovation project. Guests are Building Committee vice-chair and Regional District #18 school board member Jim Witkins and Building Committee members Nancy Hutchinson and Tim O’Neill. Part 1, which aired last month, featured a review of the past year with Building Committee chair Russ Gomes, and members Nina Peck and Jeff Flower. Part 3 of the Conversations special will air in August and will cover the committee’s recommendations to the Board of Education.
