Branford. As those charged are presumed innocent until proven guilty,
the report does not include names. It may be edited for length and

Branford
Wednesday, Aug. 6
• A 42-year-old man
of Cherry Hill Road
was arrested at 7:44 p.m. and charged with disorderly conduct.
• A 49-year-old man
of a Shore Drive
apartment was arrested at 8 p.m. on a warrant charging him with failure to
appear in the second degree.
• A 32-year-old man
of East Main Street
was arrested at 9:08 p.m. and charged with disorderly conduct.
• A 41-year-old man
of Brushy Plains Road
was arrested at 10:10 p.m. on a warrant charging him with failure to pay or
plead.
Thursday, Aug. 7
• A 38-year-old New Haven man was
arrested at 2:03 a.m. and charged with possession of narcotics and use and/or
possession of drug paraphernalia.
• A 45-year-old East Haven man was arrested at 4:30 p.m. and charged with
reckless operation of a vessel in the first degree and failure to obey rules
for preventing collision following a boating accident.
Friday, Aug. 8
• A 24-year-old New Haven man was
arrested at 1:47 a.m. and charged with violation of probation. He was also
arrested on a warrant charging him with failure to appear in the second degree.
• A 35-year-old East Haven woman was arrested at 9 a.m. and charged with
breach of peace.
• A 71-year-old North Branford man was arrested at 7:44 p.m. and charged
with disorderly conduct.
• A 31-year-old East Haven man was arrested at 9:22 p.m. and charged with
driving while under then influence of alcohol and/or drugs and unsafe movement
of a motor vehicle from a stopped or standing position.
• A 19-year-old man
of Pawson Road
was arrested at 8:45 p.m. and charged with possession of less than four ounces
of marijuana, use and/or possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of
alcohol by an underage person.
• A 26-year-old man
of Montowese Street
was arrested at 11 p.m. and charged with simple trespass and larceny in the
third degree.
• A 21-year-old man
of Harbor Street
was arrested at 11:09 p.m. and charged with breach of peace.
• A 22-year-old
woman of Laurel Hill Road
was issued a misdemeanor summons at 2:38 p.m. for failure to have insurance and
parking in a handicapped space without a permit.
Saturday, Aug. 9
• A 38-year-old man
of Meadow Circle Road was arrested at 11:08 p.m. and charged with disorderly
conduct and assault in the third degree.
• A 22-year-old East Haven woman was arrested at 11:15 p.m. on a warrant
charging her with failure to appear in the first degree.
• A 50-year-old East Haven man was issued a misdemeanor summons at 1:27
a.m. for failure to have insurance, improper use of marker, and operating an
unregistered motor vehicle.
Sunday, Aug. 10
No arrests were
made.
• A 22-year-old
Haddam man was issued a misdemeanor summons at 4:51 p.m. for misuse of plate,
failure to have insurance, and operating an unregistered motor vehicle.
Monday, Aug. 11
• A 19-year-old man
of Roger Street
was arrested at 12:41 a.m. and charged with breach of peace and assault in the
second degree.
• An 18-year-old East Haven man was arrested at 2:22 p.m. and charged with
larceny in the sixth degree.
• A 19-year-old man
of Lakeview Terrace at arrested at 7 p.m. on a warrant charging him with
failure to respond to an infraction and criminal mischief in the second degree.
Tuesday, Aug. 12
• A 52-year-old man
of Wildwood Drive
was arrested at 9:10 p.m. on a warrant charging him with failure to respond to
an infraction.
• An 18-year-old man
of Little Bay Lane was issued a citation at 10:24 p.m. for possession of
alcohol by a minor.
North Branford
Wednesday, Aug. 6
• A 21-year-old North Haven man was arrested at 12:20 a.m. and charged
with possession of less than four ounces of marijuana and sale or delivery of
alcohol to a minor.
• A 20-year-old Cheshire man was arrested
at 12:20 a.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol
and/or drugs and possession of alcohol by an underage person.
• A 20-year-old man
of Salem Street
in Northford was arrested at 12:57 p.m. and charged with possession of less
than four ounces of marijuana and use and/or possession of drug paraphernalia.
Thursday, Aug. 7
No arrests were

Friday, Aug. 8
• A 19-year-old
Rocky Hill man was arrested at 7:13 p.m. and charged with possession of less
than four ounces of marijuana, use/and or possession of drug paraphernalia,
criminal mischief in the first degree, interfering with an officer, criminal
attempt, and threatening.
Saturday, Aug. 9
• A 46-year-old New
Haven man was arrested at 4:08 p.m. and charged with assault on a peace
officer, interfering with an officer, using/tampering with a motor vehicle
without permission, possession of narcotics, use and/or possession of drug
paraphernalia, operating a motor vehicle while under license suspension,
failure to have insurance, improper use of marker, and operating an
unregistered motor vehicle.
• A 37-year-old New
Haven woman was arrested at 10:11 p.m. on two warrants each charging her with
failure to appear in the first degree. She was arrested following a motor
vehicle stop at which time she was issued a misdemeanor summons at 9:44 p.m.
for operating a motor vehicle while under license suspension. She was driving a
blue 2008 Ford F150 pickup truck.
• A 45-year-old
Woodbridge man was issued a misdemeanor summons at 9:54 p.m. for evading
responsibility in the operation of a motor vehicle following an accident in
which there was property damage and/or bodily injury. He was driving a gray
2001 Cadillac DeVille.
Sunday, Aug. 10
• A 57-year-old East
Haven man was arrested at 1:30 p.m. and charged with larceny in the third
degree.
Monday, Aug. 11
• A 32-year-old New
Haven man was arrested at 1:43 a.m. and charged with driving while under the
influence of alcohol and/or drugs, failure to drive in the proper lane of a
multiple-lane highway, and operating a motor vehicle in violation of license classification.
Tuesday, Aug. 12
• A 20-year-old New
Haven man was arrested at 2 p.m. on a warrant charging him with burglary in the
third degree, criminal mischief in the third degree, larceny in the third
degree, theft of a firearm, conspiracy to commit burglary in the third degree,
and conspiracy to commit larceny in the third degree.
• A 53-year-old man
of Middletown Avenue in Northford was arrested at 4:17 p.m. and charged with
larceny in the second degree, identity theft in the third degree, and forgery
in the third degree.
• A 30-year-old East
Haven woman was arrested at 5 p.m. and charged with criminal violation of a
protective order.
