Bizarre Accident on Bank Street

Posted by Stephen Chupaska on Jun 16 2008, 12:52 PM

An accident involving a tractor trailer and a Pontiac Grand Prix has clogged traffic on Bank Street this afternoon.

The tractor trailer was making a left turn onto Golden Street from the right lane on the one way Bank Street, when the rear corner of the trailer caught on the side rear window of the parked car, dragging it about six feet.

New London Police are on the scene and have redirected northbound Bank Street traffic onto South Water Street.
