CLINTON:
There’s no need to
travel to Broadway this summer when you can see dance and musical productions
of A Chorus Line and The Little Mermaid much closer to home.
Shoreline Stars
presents two summer youth programs at Andrews
Memorial Town
Hall in Clinton
on Saturday and Sunday, Aug. 30 and 31. The Little Mermaid will be performed
both days at noon and 3 p.m., and A Chorus Line will take the stage both days
at 6 p.m.
The productions
feature singers, dancers, and actors from many shoreline towns ranging in age
from 11 to 15 years old.
Both performances
are directed and produced by Annie Guetti of Shoreline Stars of
Guilford and choreographed by dancer Joy Scott from Bodi N Motion,
also in Guilford.
“Together, these two
women have many years of experience and talent from past years of
being on the stage,” said Kym Scott, publicity chair for the productions. “The
students are being exposed to a unique and wonderful opportunity of
working with enthusiastic, talented, and passionate instructors on the
shoreline.”
Tickets are $10, all
ages, and can only be purchased, with cash or check, at the door prior to the
shows. For more info, call Shoreline Stars of Guilford at 203-499-9953.
